Orsolon Racing at Spring Nats in Dallas, TX

May 4-5, 2014

The Orsolon Racing team participated in the Spring Nats which took place in Dallas, Texas. The team from Miami had both drivers in the huge Mini Rok Class that had 45 drivers in the field. Colombian driver from Bogota Chevy Rodriguez and American driver from Texas Riley Dickinson.

On Saturday's qualifying, Riley managed to qualify 8th, finished 9th in the first heat and got involved in a crash in the second heat, ending up in the back. On the main event Riley started 25th and with a nice recuperation race, he finished 10th.
Chevy struggled. Arriving straight for the race week, he had an engine problem in qualifying and started dead last in 45th. In the first heat, he managed to finish 24th, then 22nd in the main event.

On Sunday, Riley with a nice run in qualifying, ended up 5th and finished in the top 6 in both heats. In the main race, he battled for the top 4 all race long with an amazing battle when the race finished early due to a red flag which placed the American driver in 4th.
The young Colombian Chevy, had a solid day under the top 25th but unfortunately got involved in a 15 kart crash on the start which took him out of the race.

The next big event for the Orsolon Racing team is the Shoot Out in Salt Lake City in June 25-29.
